Frequently asked questions
How many teams can I add?
Between 2 and 64 teams or players, with unique names of up to 40 characters. The format is single elimination: losing teams leave the tournament.
Can I use an odd number of teams?
Yes. The bracket uses the next power of two, such as 8, 16 or 32 slots. Some teams automatically advance through the first round with a bye. Randomizing the teams also randomizes who gets those byes.
Can I correct a winner?
Yes. Click the correct team or edit the score. Changing a winner clears subsequent results that depended on that team while keeping the other branches intact.
Is my tournament saved?
It is automatically stored in this browser when local storage is available. Clearing browser data can remove it. Use Save file to keep a copy and Open file to resume it on another device.
Does a shared link update everyone's scores?
No. Each link contains a snapshot taken when it was created. Recipients can explore and edit their own copies without changing the organizer's bracket. Create a new link to share updated results.
How do I export a PDF?
Select Print / PDF and choose Save as PDF in your browser. For large tournaments, Download image includes the entire bracket.
Do I need an account or upload the teams?
No. The tool is free and processes the bracket in your browser. Names stay on your device; shared links also contain team names and scores.
