Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The site is supported by ads, so you never pay or need to create an account.
Is a signature made here legally valid?
It depends on the document and on who receives it. This tool places an image of your signature on the PDF, which is a simple electronic signature: it uses no digital certificate and, on its own, does not prove who signed or that the file was not changed afterwards. Many jurisdictions accept simple electronic signatures on private agreements when the parties agree to them (for example under the US ESIGN Act, eIDAS in the EU, and MP 2.200-2 in Brazil). If a certified signature may be required, or if in doubt, check with the recipient or a lawyer first.
Are my private documents uploaded to any server?
This tool runs entirely in your browser: nothing is uploaded to a server.
Does drawing work well on smartphones and tablets?
Yes! Touch screen support allows you to sign naturally using your finger or stylus directly on your phone or tablet.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The page adapts to your screen and does not require installing any app.
